CAPTEN DATE CHANGE DUE TO CORONAVIRUS NOW SUNDAY 25th OCTOBER

PLEASE NOTE TO ENSURE COVID SECURITY WE ARE NOW LIMITING ENTRIES TO 100 WITH NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY. RACE NUMBERS AND CHIPS WILL BE POSTED OUT TO ENTRANTS.IN ORDER TO FACILITATE THIS CLOSING DATE IS SUNDAY 11th OCTOBER.

ALL INFORMATION AND BRIEFING WILL BE SENT OUT FROM OCTOBER 12th.

'THE CapTEN', a 10 mile registered fell run (Fell Run License number 2020-7185) taking in Thorncombe Beacon, Golden Cap - the 2 highest points on the South West qCoast with 2,400 feet of climbing. The majority of the route follows the South West Coastal Path over National Trust Land

 The CapTEN replaces our Jurassic Coast races in August but still covers most of that events 10k course, consolidating the two distances we used to run into the most EPIC 10 miler!

The CapTEN will start and finish at Seatown, Dorset next to the Anchor Pub (DT6 6JU). Please note the road fro A35 to the event is narrow but does have a number of well developed passing places.

The race will start at 10.30 please arrive ready to run close to the start time there will be  no registration. The Start/Finish area is in Seatown next to the Anchor

The race will need to be self supported without aid stations

Medal for all finishers

Prizes will include 1st Male and Female and 1st VET(over 60) There will also be a team prize for the fastest club to put 3 finishers across the line.
